Ocean Voyage
Bannenberg & Rowell is a name synonymous with superyacht design – so who better to create Sutherland’s latest high-performance furniture than this esteemed British design studio?
Oceana‘s contemporary lines were inspired by the aesthetic of founder Jon Bannenberg, based on his forward-looking designs for a 1991 yacht (he was a hugely influential figure in his industry, and the company is now run by his son Dickie, alongside Simon Rowell). This is the first time that Bannenberg & Rowell has released a furniture collection to a wide audience, so it’s a unique chance to own a piece of its founder’s remarkable legacy.
Oceana features teak dining chairs, a lounge chair, tables and an adjustable chaise, with aerodynamic shapes and stainless steel inlays that have a natural affinity with yacht design – although they would be equally at home on deck as they would on dry land.
