Made to Perform
US brand Perennials has moved into a whole new category of premier high-performance fabrics with the launch of ‘Hi ‘n Dri’, a vegan leather that can be used inside and out, from yacht decks to chic poolside terraces, across both residential and hospitality spaces. ‘Hi ‘n Dri’ has the soft feel of leather and a natural-looking grain, but it is its performance credentials that truly impress: it resists damage from water, sunlight, and bleach cleaning, as well as being antimicrobial.
The product was initially created in response to demand for a vegan leather for marine environments, and the colour palette reflects the sun, sea and sand of a day’s sailing, with ocean blues and beachy tones. Use it on its own or pair with one of Perennials’ universally loved performance fabrics made from solution-dyed acrylic (pictured top is ‘Left Bank Stripe’ alongside ‘Hi ‘n Dri’).
