Quote & Curate is the art studio and gallery of artist and curator Angela Murray.

With a permanent home on the First Floor of Design Centre East, the studio is there to ensure the design community and its clients can access original, investable fine art. As artist in residence at the Design Centre, Murray brings a wealth of project knowledge in terms of art consultancy, curation, delivery and installation. Clients can be assured of an informed bespoke service for the management of their private art collections or new acquisitions from the Quote & Curate studio.

Working on linen and across subject matter, Murray’s work is painterly in nature and incorporates elements of embellishment using 24-carat gold leaf as gilding as well as detailing. The studio accepts commissions, from paintings through to murals, working alongside interior designers and clients on both palette and scale, with final artworks delivered framed as part of the specification.

Grant Blinds

Grants works closely with designers to complement what they do. Based on 40 years’ experience with specialist shading projects, Grants can quickly advise a designer on what’s possible in a given situation that they may not previously have encountered. In its showcase you’ll find a hand-painted arabesque wallpaper with 24ct gilt decoration, framed by a metal leaf border with broken-line motif in a hand-gilt finish, and layered with a fretwork border painted in off-black bronze.
