Garden Rose

Rose Tarlow is a star name in US decorating, a member of Architectural Digest‘s Hall of Fame (the publication says she’s been “defining Californian style for decades”), counting Oprah Winfrey and David Geffen among her starry clients. She’s recently designed a second collection of performance fabrics and rugs for Perennials, which draw on her lived-in, elegant style.

The collection was inspired by the English countryside, with performance jacquards including ‘Stepping Stones’, which features and ikat circle and square design; ‘Garden Row’, a delicate linear check; and ‘Foxglove Lane’, a tone-on-tone check resembling vintage silk.

Fabric designs are complemented by four flatweave rugs, inspired by Tarlow’s own watercolour paintings, including ‘Tyger! Tyger!’, a tiger motif distilled down to its simplest form.

The collection is made from 100% solution dyed acrylic yarn, which is resistant to fading, mildew and UV; every design is customisable and available in endless colour combinations.
