“Wherever nature works, there will be beauty,” wrote William Morris – and Morris & Co. has now launched a collection of outdoor performance fabrics that brings even closer together its original designs and the nature that first inspired them.
UV- and water-resistant, wipeable, anti-microbial and colourfast, and suitable for upholstery as well as drapery, these fabrics are not just ideal for outdoor use but for anywhere in the home that requires an extra level of durability.
Many favourites have been included in the collection, including ‘Honeysuckle’ (above left), ‘Acanthus’ (above centre) and ‘Willow Bough’ (above right). with 25 designs in total. The new ‘Holland Park Stripe’ – inspired by an 1883 carpet border – is the joint-first stripe to ever join a Morris & Co. collection, coordinating beautifully with existing patterns.
