Status Stripes
Dedar’s ‘Alumnus’ fabric has a specific sartorial status symbol as its point or origin: the tie. Writ large instead of confined to a slim piece of neckwear, the smart, finely woven stripes take on a bold new character. It’s one of nine tie-inspired fabrics in Dedar’s spring collection, including vivid tartan checks ‘Kilt’ and ‘Clan’ and the angular geometric ‘Quintessence’. An unusual twist on a classic, they also have a broad range of applications, since they are made from fire-retardant Trevira CS.
