Enchanted Landscapes
Kit Kemp’s wallcoverings for Andrew Martin are a highly successful collaboration: often whimsical and fantastical, with folk-art influences, they easily transport the viewer into another realm. Now, Kemp has extended the collection with two new designs.
‘Lantern Parade’ (pictured above) features birds and hares holding lanterns aloft as they make their way through a magical landscape of ponds, trees and hillocks. ‘Songbird’ (below), meanwhile, is inspired by chinoiserie: “I love to open the door to a room that sings with colour. Songbird, like its name, does just that,” says Kemp. “This is a joyful design in colourways that make your rooms sing with sophistication and originality.”
Kemp’s already well-loved ‘Mythical Land’, meanwhile, has been reworked in five new colours, taking it in a new, more graphic direction with some of the more pared-back neutral options (below right).
