A New Venture
Bespoke furniture maker Ventura has opened its first showroom outside of its native Ireland, in Design Centre East. It offers a full turnkey service, from conception to completion, as well as individual custom-made pieces such as this ‘Hugo’ dining table, above, which features striking cut-out metal legs and a tabletop that comes in multiple sizes, depths and finishes. As well as a comprehensive furniture collection, there are also headboards, mirrors and lighting; everything is made to order and demonstrates the convergence of fine materials and the skill of master craftspeople. “We are very excited about our opening in Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour – it is the perfect environment for us,” says Ventura’s creative director Arlene McIntyre.
