What brought Loom Furniture to Design, Centre, Chelsea Harbour?

Our ambition was always to have a space within the Design Centre – having such a wealth of great interiors brands and businesses in one space was something we wanted to be part of. This year felt like the natural time for us to take this step, and we’re excited to have taken it.

What should we expect from the showroom?

We wanted it to be a space in which our clients, old and new, could drop by and see items from our latest collection and further their understanding of our offering. We have a big display wall that contains our uniquely curated collection of materials and finishes, which are what really set us apart, creating limitless options for our furniture. We also have a casual meeting space so that our team can talk anyone through what we do at Loom. The furniture on display will be ever changing, so we can really show off the breadth of our material options.

What’s Loom Furniture’s design philosophy?

We create desirable furniture solutions to live harmoniously with any interior scheme. Our furniture is designed to be made yours; we believe in the possibility of making any of our pieces unique with the client’s material and finish choices.

Is there a ‘hero’ product that you feel sums up the brand, or that’s been a long-standing bestseller?

The ‘Empire’ console [pictured above left] due to its simple design and focal central accent, which make it an instantly recognisable Loom design.

What are some of the broad trends in the furniture industry that you’re embracing?

We are noticing more textured details that we hope to include in our next range of designs. We understand that customisation is important, which is why we have recently increased our product range and choice of finish options to give open-ended possibilities.

What craftsmanship or innovation goes into Loom’s products?

Our products are designed, crafted and made in Britain. We find that working closely with our suppliers, artisans and makers means we can keep control over our delivery times and ensure the work is consistently done to our highest standard.

Is there anything else you’d like the Design Centre’s community to know about your brand?

Honest and exceptional service is at the heart of our approach to business. We want to produce the furniture that you desire and we have worked hard to make this a possibility. We continue to strive for excellence and supply to some of the leading interior designers and architects in the United Kingdom and internationally.
