Time Well Spent

The FT How to Spend It Restaurant is the culinary hub of London Design Week 2019. Anchored by walls in Pierre Frey’s eye-catching ‘Chandernagor’ wallcovering by Braquenié, the opulent space is arranged around a large oval-shaped bar surrounded by intimate banquettes. The menu features brasserie classics such as smoked haddock and salmon fishcakes, as well as some globe-spanning flavours like Lebanese mezze and bang-bang chicken, and indulgent desserts including treacle tart with clotted cream.

The space also features ‘Salone’ fabric by Zimmer + Rohde, ‘Mona’ fabric by Manuel Canovas at Colefax and Fowler and ‘Positano’ cord from Samuel & Sons (on banquettes); ‘French Wave B’ wallcovering and ‘Franklin’ border by Adelphi Paper Hangings from Tissus d’Hélène (on walls); and ‘Night Fishing’ paint from Sanderson at Style Library.
