Time Well Spent

A palette of pretty pastels with Art Deco-inspired details set the tone for the spring-like atmosphere of the FT How to Spend It Restaurant – a new collaboration with the esteemed luxury magazine supplement. The brasserie-style dining venue serves a delicious menu, from homemade granola with Greek yoghurt for breakfast to tuna and black olive spaghetti for lunch. No time to dine? Perch at the bar and enjoy bar snacks, such as crudutés with seeded flatbread, and a glass of something special from the well-curated wine list.

The soft blue palette is shot through with pink and lilac, the perfect herald of spring. A metallic gleam from the fan-motif wallcovering (‘Deco’ by Aux Abris, from George Spencer Designs) and sumptuous velvet banquettes (upholstered in Rubelli’s ‘Ombra’ in Aquamarina) bring sophistication and depth to the scheme. Zoffany’s ‘Aqua’ and ‘Lady Lilac’ paints (from Style Library) ensure the aesthetic is as fresh as the menu.
