American painter, sculptor, and printmaker Hunt Slonem’s fascination with rabbits began in the early 1980s when he discovered that he was born in the Chinese year of the rabbit. His New York City studio features a gallery wall made up of his ‘small bunny’ paintings, some famously hung while still wet. ‘Bunny Wall’ for Lee Jofa is a trompe l’oeil wallpaper that mimics the effect of these framed paintings.
