Happy Hub
The Connect, Converse, Create hub at London Design Week 2020 is the place to pause, plan your day or meet friends and colleagues. Styled as an enclosed courtyard garden, the space has transformed the North Dome with lush planting and clusters of conversation-friendly furniture.
Sponsored by Paola Lenti (available at Interdesign at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour), the Italian designer’s joyously colourful outdoor furniture and rugs have been used to create the intimate seating areas. The space features, among other pieces, ‘Picot’ crochet poufs, ‘Cocci’ tables with ceramic tops, ‘Ami’ armchairs and ‘Orbitry’ oversized swivelling armchairs. Lenti’s extraordinary colour sense is in evidence throughout, with lime green, hot pink and bright orange contrasting with sea-green and turquoise.
