'Royal Rituals' palette, Victoria + Albert baths

Travel broadens the mind – and provides endless inspiration to interior designers and homeowners when it comes to decorating. Celebrating this link between creativity and far-flung destinations, Victoria + Albert Baths (available at House of Rohl) has released Wanderlust, a palette of colours inspired by three very different but equally well-loved places.

‘Royal Rituals’ (pictured top) is an evocation of ancient Luxor, with inky indigo the colour of a desert night sky, and jewel tones that recall the treasures of the Pharaohs; ‘Gateway to Serenity’ (above left) embodies the lushness of the southerly Japanese island of Kyushu, with tropical greens contrasting with a dusty purple, the colour of the sky after a rainstorm; and ‘Island Time’ (above right) reflects the Mediterranean hues of Corsica, including sea green, earthy sage and a fiery orange evoking terracotta-roofed villages.

These palettes form part of more than 200 RAL colours that can be applied across any of the brand’s baths and basins, in a gloss or matt finish – making it easier to create a bathroom full of personal expression, whether it’s inspired by a London street or a lush rainforest.
