Delicate Matter
Best known for its exquisite wallcoverings, Fromental’s showroom is a cornucopia of other treasures, too. Complementing its own collections are Link Outdoor’s performance fabrics and furniture, and lighting from Best & Lloyd, whose ‘Constance’ table light is pictured. Australian artist Chris Harman designed the lamp base, using a technique that originated in his purely sculptural work, exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery; its pleasingly uneven stack of air-dried ceramic disks emulates the delicacy of natural forms.
