Pop-up restaurants and cafés, specially commissioned for Focus/19, offer stylish places to eat and drink, along with plenty of design inspiration. This year there are options in the domes and the Design Avenue so make time to catch up with friends, colleagues and clients at one of these convivial spaces.

Design Avenue, Ground Floor

For destination dining, head to this stylish brasserie-style restaurant, where the enticing menu is complemented by a well-curated wine-list. The setting mixes urban glamour with artistic influences: dark, distressed metallics, deeply textured fabrics and a sculptural installation hanging above the circular bar and surrounding banquette seating.

BAR BOTANICAL
Ground Floor, North Dome

The vibrant, nature-inspired decor of this lively bar makes it the perfect place for champagne or a Bellini, accompanied by tempting bar snacks. Pull up a stool at the central brass-clad bar or perch at one of the high tables, surrounded by greenery thanks to a design scheme of leafy textiles and wallcoverings.

Ground Floor, South Dome

For something fresh and fast, drop in and pick up a sandwich, salad, coffee or juice at this well-located pit stop.

SECOND FLOOR CAFE
Second Floor, Design Centre East

Drop in and pick up a fresh sandwich, salad, coffee or juice – or stay and enjoy the genial setting, with its forested wallcovering, dark teal tiles and metallic details.

GROUND COFFEE SOCIETY BAR
Third Floor, North Dome

Enjoy a free coffee from Ground Coffee Society. Sourcing, roasting and serving its own perfectly balanced beans, these speciality coffee connoisseurs have built a solid reputation for some of the most consistent and loved coffee since 2009. Collect a token on registration.
