Tailored Tours

London Design Week 2020 presented an opportunity to take a deeper dive into what happens in the showrooms, thanks to a series of tours helmed by Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour’s personal shopper Gabrielle Grubanovich.

Two types of tour were tailored to different audiences, both of them taking in new or recently relocated showrooms. For professionals, Designer Sourcing Tours were aimed at designers who felt stuck in a rut and wanted to reinvigorate their contacts book; they included insights from showroom staff about bespoke capabilities, lead times and setting up accounts.

Personal Shopping Tours, meanwhile, were simply a way to discover the latest showrooms and gain insights into a particular subject, from kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms to lighting design.
