KLC School of Design Talks
KLC School of Design is hosting a series of free workshops at Focus/16 that will provide food for thought and get creative juices running. Simon Dodsworth’s Everyday Sustainability talk kicked things off on Sunday with a look at how designers can bring what can seem like daunting principles of sustainability into even the smallest design project. Diana McKnight brings a cerebral spin to interiors with her Design Psychology workshop (Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 September, 2pm), which explores the hidden reasons why some design schemes succeed more than others. On Thursday 22 and Friday 23 September at 2pm, Nicola Burt gives a rundown of her Top Tips for Creating a Successful Scheme, covering space planning, colour, sourcing, lighting and styling.
