Gaultier’s Model Wallcoverings
Resembling hand painted and patterned tiles, ‘Porto’ wallpaper by fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier is inspired by the Portuguese city’s traditional tilework. It’s just one of 15 patterns from his typically maverick first wallpaper collection for Lelievre: further designs range from the romantic, in the shape of the full-blown roses of ‘Flamboyant’, to the urban, with the street-art-inspired ‘Ernest’. There’s also a version of Gaultier’s signature Breton stripe, with a tactile twist: ‘Quiberon’ is a blue and white flocked design.
