Guest Appearance

More than 20 house guests took up residence in the Design Avenue for London Design Week 2020. Only in situ for the duration of the show, their presence brought an extra layer of inspiration, creativity and artisanship, with a broad offering of products, from the opulent surface design of Sterling Studios to African-made woven lighting by Ilala.

House guests also hosted their own capsule events – House & Garden‘s creative director Gabby Deeming hosted a Q&A with Flora Soames, while Hyde House welcomed Helen Bygraves of Hill House Interiors for a talk about bespoke design. Many other new products also made their debut, including Parkside Architectural Tiles’s iridescent tiles and Haberdashery’s delicate, flower-like porcelain lighting.
