Bridging the Century

Hodsoll McKenzie’s Bridge collection is the work of German designer Fredericke Winkler, who has taken her inspiration from the modernist architecture of the early 20th century. Architects of the period have lent the fabrics their names, including ‘Neutra’, a robust cotton with a zig-zag pattern, and ‘Van Alen’, a geometric embroidery evoking the monumentality of the first skyscrapers. They’re available from Zimmer + Rohde.
