Design Honours

Congratulations are due to Jenny Gibbs, founder principal of the KLC School of Design, who has been awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours List 2020, for services to higher education and the interior design industry. Her 40-year career coincides with a significant shift in the industry’s status and level of professionalism. Launched in the 1980s, the school is based at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour and the two share strong ties: its ever-growing list of highly regarded alumni include Nicola Burt, Hollie Bowden and Turner Pocock’s Emma Pocock.
