The Ripple Effect
Davidson London has launched two cabinet collections for spring/summer 21, both with a distinct story to tell. ‘Available in two or four doors, ‘Abstract’ (pictured above) features inlaid asymmetrical lines, inspired by the shapes found in modern architecture. Finished in figured sycamore, which has a distinctive grain and silky texture, and with brushed brass detailing, it is the ideal canvas on which to display beautiful objects, and the perfect storage solution in a dining room or modern office space.
The Starlight collection, meanwhile, has more otherworldly origins: ‘Galaxy’ (pictured above), ‘Stellar’ and ‘Supernova’ were all influenced by the mesmerising ripples of moving filaments in space. The oak cabinets are finished in a liquid bronze, which is applied to a unique hand-carved relief pattern for more fluid, eye-catching effect. Both ‘Stellar’ and ‘Galaxy’ are available as side cabinets as well as stylish bar cabinets: reach inside for your favourite tipple and you will find a sycamore interior with a mirrored backboard, chic downlights and glass shelving. There are also compartments for storing cocktail glasses, tumblers, a shaker and bottles.
