All that glisters…

The luxurious metallics trend of last season has evolved into the something more raw and natural. Copper, gold and brass are being left unfinished with their natural patinas exposed, creating an interesting contrast with more highly finished materials like glass and marble. The ‘Bespoke Oval Coffee Table With Glass and Marble’ at Decorus Furniture; Brochier’s ‘Anita’ damask fabric woven with a pure gold and silk yarn at Altfield; and SA Baxter’s Kalahari hardware series, designed in collaboration with David Scott, are all examples of this breaking trend.
