Bella Figura has ventured into accessories for the first time, with a collection of glass boxes that share the same design DNA as its renowned lighting. The Carbon collection draws on the skill of the same Murano glassmakers who create Bella Figura’s Beverly Hills lamp bases, which are pleasingly weighty and feature faceted shapes that enhance the beauty of their jewel-like colours. Continuing the design narrative, the boxes have been loosely modelled on gemstone cuts: ‘Princess’ evokes a square-cut diamond, for example.
Look out for an even bigger expansion into home furnishings for Bella Figura later in the year.
