Chris Murphy Design was founded in 2022. Working primarily with wood, Murphy seeks to blend contemporary design with fine craftsmanship. His work often has a mechanical element that creates a sense of intrigue.
The Air collection was born from a challenge to counter the visually heavy aesthetic of a traditional chest of drawers. With no visible structure holding the drawers together, they appear to float, creating a sense of lightness.
