Studio Mica

Studio Mica is an award-winning design company working across residential, hospitality and retail interiors in the UK and internationally. Founding director Carolynne Shenton and director Abigail Kendler both have architectural backgrounds and together specialise in complex bespoke interior design schemes.

Projects include the Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch, Blakes Hotel in South Kensington and hospitality interiors for IHG, One & Only and the Montcalm Group. Studio Mica has also designed residential projects in London, Hampshire, Kent, Spain, India, Ibiza, Montenegro and The Bahamas. The studio has a robust design philosophy based on a collaborative and creative design process, quality materials and skilful scheme management.

“We wanted it to feel luxurious. Somewhere to escape, a space that’s calm – but also a little bit sexy. We’ve used a mixture of natural materials – clay bricks, raffia, woven textures – which makes a great background to the brassware from House of Rohl. We really believe in the quality of their products”
