Sophie Ashby

Sophie Ashby founded her interior design and creative direction practice, Studio Ashby Ltd, in 2014 at the age of 25, and she is also the co-founder of United in Design, a charitable initiative with a mission to address the lack of diversity in interior design (which is also WOW!house 2024’s charity partner). Studio Ashby creates spaces with a unique identity, looking to bring authenticity to each project, unswayed by the passing dictates of fashion. The Studio draws on Sophie’s love of antiques, colour, contemporary “world art”, craftsmanship, modernist furniture, photography and her latest discoveries to deliver an eclectic richness to each interior.

Studio Ashby was named Interior Designer of the Year by ELLE Decoration and House & Garden in 2021 and she has also been awarded a Contribution to Design Award by Homes & Gardens. The studio is also a House & Garden Top 100 design studio.
