The Design Archives

The Design Archives is the result of founder and creative director Sharon Crowson’s vision to bring to life the incredible archive of designs collected by her father during his years in the textile industry. New to London Design Week 2024 is Samarkand, a vibrant and eclectic fabric collection of printed archival fabrics inspired by traditional ikat and hand woven kilims, which beautifully convey the evocative textile history of the traditional Silk Road.

Alongside the brand’s existing portfolio of fabric and wallpaper, The Design Archives’ partners from its London showroom, Bennett Silks and curtain pole makers The Holbein Company, will also be on display.
