Madeaux
For Madeaux’s latest collection, Richard Smith took a journey through his extensive library of designs, to select some of the most loved themes, motifs and textures as inspiration for eight smaller-scale print and woven patterns.
Each pattern has been created anew or adapted from an existing larger-scale design to perfectly complement Madeaux’s wide range of fabrics and wallcoverings, embracing the beauty and character of decorative detail, through a subtle, smaller scale.
The collection adds to Richard’s existing seasonal capsule collections, inspired as much by the wildlife found on his East Sussex doorstep as by the ancient documents or vintage tapestries unearthed during his travels.
