Bloomfield Ink
Bloomfield Ink designs and produces exquisite hand block printed wallpapers made by traditional methods. A creative collaboration between colourist Prue MacLeod and textile designer Emerald Dangerfield, the brand, which was established in 2021, is launching its fifth collection Wild Thing at London Design Week 2024.
Inspired by nature, botanical motifs and organic shapes, and influenced by artists such as Seurat, Miro, Rothko and the Bloomsbury Group, these charming original artisan designs are brought to life in the Herefordshire countryside, where Emerald creates the designs and hand mixes the chalky, coloured pigments before the finished designs are sent to traditional block printers in Lincolnshire.
