Jie Wu
Jie Wu Studio designs and crafts expressive furniture and objects, and is exclusively represented by Gallery Fumi. Jie Wu, known for her bold use of natural and manmade materials, embeds pieces of antique Chinese rosewood in coloured resin, creating intimate patterns.
Her mission is to elevate the perception of synthetic materials, as well as to pay homage to the innate beauty of natural aged wood. All pieces are handmade and have a passion for true craftsmanship.
Jie Wu is a 2018 Future Heritage alumnus.
