Zardi & Zardi was founded in 2004 by PJ Keeling at the start of the digital print revolution. Developments in technology meant that he could reproduce facsimiles of historic tapestries on natural linen, which possessed all the patina and subtleties of colour that result from hundreds of years of ageing.
Able to produce museum-grade reproductions of antique tapestries, it has manufactured pieces for many historic houses and organisations including Kensington Palace, Blenheim Palace, Warwick Castle, The National Trust and English Heritage. Zardi & Zardi offers a Tapestry Reproduction Service: when an historic house has to send a tapestry away for conservation and cleaning, or a specific tapestry is required for a period drama in a film or TV production, it can provide a replica of the finest quality.
