MAMOU-MANI

The WOW!house’s facade has been created by cutting-edge architectural practice Mamou-Mani and its fabrication facility FabPub. The geometric, circular mandalas that adorn the entrance create an ephemeral wall of light and shadow: the pattern was generated parametrically, each mandala was then 3D-printed in bioplastic, made from mix of fermented sugar and wood. The facade is designed not only to WOW visitors as they arrive, but also as a beautiful symbol of the circular economy.

Mamou-Mani Ltd is an award-winning international architectural practice specialising in digitally designed and fabricated architecture, custom products and interfaces, as well as parametric consultancy and designs for the metaverse. Named in 2020 as one of the world’s top 25 ‘disruptor’ practices by Architects’ Journal, its ambition is to create sustainable designs that will not only help the planet, but also trigger instant curiosity and awe.

“We believe in innovation, and work with clients all over the world to create unique spaces, pieces, and experiences that inspire the mind and uplift the soul,” Arthur Mamou-Mani, managing director, Mamou-Mani
