Quintessentially Spring

Seasonal spring blooms burst forth at London Design Week 2018, thanks to the work of  acclaimed floral designer Rob Van Helden. Known for his natural style, garden-like planting sets the tone on arrival, with baby pink hyacinth, purple hellebores and magnolia branches, while the Centre Dome is filled with the quintessential herald of spring, flowering cherry. Papery pink ranunculas and pink tulips are offset with silvery eucalyptus or creamy hydrangeas. There were hints of summer garden fragrance, too – pink and lilac roses, lavender and fresh herbs. Vintage vases complemented Van Helden’s romantic interpretation of the season’s colour trends. He is the official florist for London Design Week 2018.
