22 Mar SLEEP BETTER WITH A BEAUTIFUL NEW BED
- Italian designer Giuseppe Viganò has created Turri’s ‘Blues’ bed, complementing a wider bedroom furniture collection of the same name. It can be upholstered in leather, fabric or a combination of both to make the most of the contrast between the base and headboard.
- Julian Chichester’s popular Bobbin collection includes this bed – a four-poster with a difference thanks to its elegant tapering posts and antique gesso finish.
- Laskasas’ ‘Bonnie’ bed does away with the need for a separate bed, headboard and storage: upholstered in leather, it features cantilevered timber storage integrated into its oversized headboard.
- A contemporary take on a four-poster canopy bed, ‘Chelsea’ from Andrew Martin features a warm white and smoked-oak two-tone frame, complemented by a linen upholstered headboard.
- A walnut herringbone headboard wraps around the bed-base in this ‘Eve’ bed, designed by Pietro Russo for Gallotti&Radice. The side panels are adjustable, and the leather or velvet cover on the bed base is removable.
- Jensen Beds’ ‘J6 Continental’ bed is one of the Norwegian brand’s most exclusive beds: the mattress features a zoned spring system but there are also further pocket springs in the base, for total sleep comfort.
- The ‘Noa’ bed by Auping (available at Rested), was created by Danish designer Eva Harlou: its Scandinavian aesthetic shines through in the airy slatted oak-veneer headboard and playful rear wheels.
- Ditch the hard angles with Porada’s ‘Softbay’ bed, with its gently curving, squashy profile. The bed sits on smart walnut legs, while the bed base has a removable cover for the fabric options, or a fixed cover in leather.
