A wallpaper for tweenagers

I’d like to redecorate my 11-year-old’s bedroom but it’s a difficult age – what’s a wallpaper that’s going to work now that she’ll still like in five years’ time?

Graphic, colourful patterns might be the way to go – they’re fun but don’t necessarily look childish. Harlequin’s new children’s collection Book of Little Treasures includes hearts, spots and stripes that should stand the test of time, or if they’re an animal lover, this hand-drawn ‘Into the Wild’ design makes a bold statement. For something more grown-up but still playful, Harlequin’s sister company Scion always delivers: recent collections have included striking floral silhouettes and Japanese-inspired cloud prints.
