Most of us may be working from home, but few will have such an elegant place to do it as in front of this ‘Gagne’ secretaire from Oficina Inglesa Furniture. Elevating those humdrum spreadsheets and emails to a higher status, it’s shown in cherrywood with a leather-lined drop-down writing area, but can be fully customised, with different materials, alternative drawer configurations and a cable management option for use with a laptop.
The desk is one of several new products added to Oficina Inglesa’s catalogue of more than 600 furniture designs, including tables, consoles and upholstered seating. Everything is crafted and finished by hand, and entirely bespoke designs can also be made.
