Cultured Pearl

Head to the Tollgård showroom to see the latest creation from British lighting design studio Nulty Bespoke. ‘Perla’ has a branching design, with each branch terminating in a delicate glass shade. These hand-blown glass elements have a mottled finish that resembles the surface of an oyster shell – and the light source at the centre of each one represents its pearl. In the same way that nature makes every shell unique, the subtle variations in colour, pattern and shape ensure that no two shades are the same.

A version of the light has been installed at a Linley-designed penthouse at Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square (pictured). Nulty Bespoke is the sister company of international consultancy Nulty, which has designed prestigious lighting schemes for retail settings such as Selfridges and hotel and members’ club The Ned.
