New to Poliform, Italian lighting company Nemo was founded in Milan in the 1930s, and has in the past harnessed the design talents of pioneers such as Le Corbusier. Arihiro Miyake’s ‘Kepler’ pendant (pictured) is typical of its unorthodox approach. This slender ribbon of aluminium and LEDs takes the form of a Möbius strip – an ‘endless line’ with one continuous surface. Simple, sculptural, and a real talking point.
