Clean Lines
Named after Willis Cowling, a late-18th-century Richmond cabinetmaker and relative of McKinnon and Harris’ founders, the Cowling collection is the most contemporary seating collection to date from the outdoor furniture specialists. Founder Will Massie explains: “It’s difficult to make something that looks truly simple. Cowling is an example of hidden luxury, with a tremendous amount of craftsmanship and engineering behind the clean lines and subtle detailing. Clients have been requesting a high-performance product with the recognisable McKinnon and Harris purity of line, but more minimalistic.” The ‘Cowling’ club chair is one of a series of pieces that can be used as sectional or stand-alone seating.
