Tatiana Tafur
Tatiana Tafur is delighted to be exhibiting for the first time at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, showcasing natural and sustainable wallcoverings, rugs and sunshades made from abacá (fibres extracted from the stems of a species of banana).
The abacá is produced in the foothills of a live volcano in the Philippines: volcanic ash produces soil rich in nutrients, resulting in the natural regrowth of the plants right outside the workshop where these wonderful products are made. These hand woven collections have a zero-carbon footprint at the point of collection.
