Meet Salazar, the Siberian tiger that’s prowling Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour during London Design Week 2017. The installation, the work of floral alchemist Larry Walshe, is a one-off sculpture, painted and flocked by hand and surrounded by lush planting. Not only does this magnificent lifelike creature bring into focus the week’s overall theme, the Science of Design, but it also pinpoints two key interiors trends to be found within the showrooms: animal prints and exuberant botanical motifs.
