Bold, breathtaking and utterly original, Front Rugs has opened a new showroom that presents collections from renowned designers Jan Kath, Michaela Schleypen and Zoë Luyendijk. It is no wonder that they are known as ground-breaking. This ‘Angles’ rug by Jan Kath was inspired by the forms of Cubism, where colours were applied one over another to block out geometric angles and sharp edges. Knot by knot, threads are layered like paint on a canvas, from opaque to faded shades. The showroom itself is a work of art with threads of fine wool stretched at asymmetrical angles.
