The West One Bathrooms showroom welcomed British designer Bethan Laura Wood during Focus/23, to unveil a new capsule collection she has created for Kaldewei. Wood is known for an exuberant use of colour and pattern and Avocado Dreams makes a tongue-in-cheek reference to the classic colour of choice for a 1970s bathroom – although her approach is somewhat different.

Using Kaldewei’s enamelled steel bath, shower tray and basin as canvas for her creativity, the designer has created a dazzling graphic pattern for each, available in three colourways. The freestanding ‘Meisterstuck Oyo Duo’ bath, on show in the West One Bathrooms showroom, is particularly striking, its entire inner surface covered in Wood’s almost psychedelic pattern and providing a contrast to the bath itself’s simple, minimal shape.
