Young and talented Lebanese designers david/nicolas have teamed up with Pierre Frey to create the Verso furniture collection. Discover how the creative collaboration focused on the theme of travel and the great transatlantic liners of the 1930s and 1950s, including those decorated by René Prou, Pierre’s great, great grandfather. If you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going.” Amplifying Maya Angelou’s famous sentiment surrounding ancestral roots and inspired beginnings are The Black Artists + Designers Guild (BADG), which has teamed with S. Harris to create a debut collection of artisanal textiles, wallcoverings and trimmings centered around history and heritage. Join two of the BADG members - both accomplished US interior designers – who collaborated on this unique project, taking us on a transportive, tactile journey through the peaks and valleys of Bhutan, the equatorial shores of Zanzibar and the far reaches of New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
