Esteemed chef John Burton-Race has devised a special menu for the Design Café, only available during Focus/20. The two- or three-course menu includes bistro favourites such as duck leg confit with cherries in syrup and pan-fried bream with spinach and roasted fennel, with a complementary wine and cocktail list.
Burton-Race said: “This is a partnership made in heaven; there are many affinities between the disciplines of design and cooking: both are rooted in careful craftsmanship, an understanding of seasonality, colour presentation and a fearless application of imagination. This is a great time of year for produce and my dishes are intended to provide something a little bit warming now we’re heading to autumn.”
Diners can eat in or enjoy the outdoor terrace, complete with colourful parasols made from the freshest new-season performance fabrics from Rubelli, Houlès, C & C Milano, Abbott + Boyd and Sutherland Perennials Studio.
