Focus/22 Programme

The events programme for Focus/22 has been curated to engage, inform and spark the imagination. Book now for Conversations in Design, the renowned talks series that offers access to the industry’s global A-listers; tickets are £10 and spaces are limited. There are also scores of free events in our Access All Areas schedule, to enjoy in and around the showrooms, from meet the designer sessions to hands-on workshops, collection launches and discovery tours.

NB: Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour will be closed on Monday 19 September 2022 as this has been declared a national day of mourning and is a Bank Holiday. Events on this day have been cancelled or rescheduled for later in the week.

Tim Page Carpets works with Yodomo, a social venture that repurposes materials – including unusable carpet offcuts and discontinued samples – for arts and crafts projects that increase wellbeing and promote creative reuse.
To celebrate this enterprising spirit, Yodomo teacher and potter Ranjit Dhaliwal will be in the showroom demonstrating kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramic: he will be using a mixture of resin and gold-coloured powder to breathe new life into broken pieces.
