Espresso Design’s showroom in Design Centre East is always an inspiring place, whether for seeing the latest kitchens, getting the low-down on high-tech appliances from brands such as Wolf and Bora or delving though material samples. Its excellence has now been recognised, having been awarded Best Contemporary Kitchen Designer & Retail Showroom in the BUILD Architecture Awards 2020.
The showroom was redesigned earlier this year to incorporate new designs from Italian brand Cesar (pictured top): ‘Intarsio’ was inspired by traditional marquetry techniques – although it has a sleek, modern aesthetic – while a companion kitchen island, ‘Williamsburg’ has a metal frame, taking its design cues from modern bridge design.
No showroom is a success without brilliant staff, and the awards judges commended Espresso Design’s customer-focused approach to design as well as the breadth of brands on offer.
