Villa Nova launched its Picturebook collection in 2018; its first collection for children became an instant classic, harnessing the talents of leading children’s illustrators to create immersive worlds that fed the imagination. Now, Picturebook II builds on that first collection, with a whole new world of fantasies to explore.
Frann Preston-Gannon, Christopher Corr and Yuval Zommer are back as the illustrators behind the fabric and wallcovering designs; each has their own recognisable style, but all of them have the power to create a sense of escape and wonder. Corr has devised colourful alphabets and animals – rainbow-striped zebras and flower-adorned elephants – alongside a night-sky space scene; Preston-Gannon’s work includes fields of wild flowers, fluffy embroidered bunnies and a forested Little Red Riding Hood scene; and Zommer conjures up jungle scenes, strawberry plants interspersed with cute bugs, and an underwater paradise for would-be Jacques Cousteaus.

There are also coordinating products featuring dots, stripes and ‘sprinkles’. And if this wasn’t enough of an immersive experience, Picturebook II also includes cushions, rugs, trim and sticker packs. Curious minds (both young and old) have never been so stimulated.
